Season 2, Puzzle 13: "Sea Ya Later!"

Well, this is it! Final puzzle of the sea-son, and our time to wave goodbye! Special thanks to Philip Chow for workshopping the theme set on this one with us–we had to pull this one together last minute after some unforeseen coinkydinks. But that’s the way the bread crumb crumbles! Today is the summer solstice, so it's time for us to say our goodbyes and waddle on down the road. Thank you all so much for sticking around with us and solving this season. We appreciate every one of you for taking the time to pond-er our puzzles, leaving a comment, and just otherwise keeping us company this spring. The deadline for this puzzle will be next Sunday, after which we'll reveal the winners of the coveted duck mugs! Now water you waiting for? Let's dive in to the final puzzle! Season 2, Puzzle 12: "We Remember"

Welcome back, muggles! Today's puzzle is puzzle 12 of season 2. We'll have one more for you next week to round out our baker's dozen, and then we will pack up for the season (you're in good hands though, with MikeyG's "Summer of Solves," not to mention the usual weekly SSS, MMM, MOAT, MEOW, and so much more!) After next week's puzzle finishes, we'll be drawing winners for this year's prizes. As a reminder, each puzzle solved correctly before the deadline gives you one raffle entry, so be sure to finish strong and get those solves in! We've had a lot of fun this season, but today we want to get a bit more serious. Not too too serious, mind you, we're still your favorite goofy ducks! But even us clowns can take a minute to remember. Let's call this a level 3. For last week's solution, click here: REVEAL!   We Remember The meta answer is a 6-letter word. Four better or four worse, we don’t expect this will be a level four (probably a three, but Connect Three just didn’t have the same ring). For last week's solution, click here: REVEAL!
